Chief Operating Officer, TBI FEDERAL
Clyde Thompson is the Chief Operating Officer of TBI Federal, bringing with him 36 years of dedicated federal government service, including 18 years in the Senior Executive Service and notable recognition for reengineering federal human capital and business operations, instituting scalable processes that delivered sustained efficiency, compliance, and mission performance. His executive excellence was recognized with two Presidential Meritorious Rank Awards, bestowed upon only the top five percent of SES members government‑wide. More recently (beginning 2013) he was Senior Vice President of GovStrive, LLC, a premier industry leader delivering best-in-class Human Resources (HR) business and technology services to stabilize and innovate federal organizations.
At TBI Federal, Clyde leverages decades of federal insight and operational discipline to provide enterprise-wide operational leadership across strategy execution, program delivery, finance, human capital, acquisitions, IT, and compliance. He translates corporate strategy into measurable operational plans, strengthens financial governance and audit readiness, drives process optimization and transformation, and ensures disciplined execution of federal contracts in compliance with FAR and customer performance standards. His leadership advances customer outcomes and accelerates mission success across the enterprise.
Clyde holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Jackson State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.
